LEAN: Respect for People, Pt 2 of 10 - Unconscious Bias

Respect for people is a Cornerstone of LEAN, but so often missing. The bottom line is that many of the root causes of waste, overburden, and variation are found on the people, not the process, side. Lean organizations have plenty of continuous Improvement practices to find and fix problems associated with process, but the problems associated with people are often intractable unless we deploy specific, repeatable methods to find and fix them.

We continue our 2nd of 10 livestream series on the “Missing half of lean = RESPECT FOR PEOPLE.” We’ll be digging into Unconscious Biases with thought leader and Beza associate firm, Macresco, founder, Scott Gauvin, a 25-year veteran of lean practice.
